I went on a cruise a few years ago to Alaska and Sitka was one of our ports that we visited. Had never heard of Back Bay Botanicals, being from a small town in Alabama and at my age I have tried every name brand facial care on the market. I purchased the Lavender facial toner and the Moonlight Moisturizer while there and thought I would try it. I have been using it ever since. The toner is wonderful for using before or after your makeup and it leaves your skin feeling wonderful. I use the Moonlight Moisturizer at bedtime and my face feels so soft in the mornings when I get up. I can tell a big difference in my complexion with less wrinkles and does not seem to be any more than I had three years ago. I love these products and use them regularly. Moonlight Moisturizer has been my daily facial pleasure since Jean first created it in 1997 on Back Bay in remote Alaska village where we were neighbors. I was visiting her family one evening when the cream was new, and she asked me to put some on my skin. A full moon was pouring through the wintertime window and the cream felt so like that clear, clean light that I suggested the product's name right then. It's so light and creamy that my skin says aahh. My face especially likes a cleansing with Back Bay Botanicals Oatmeal and Honey soap before I apply the Moonlight. I have been using the Herbal Balm for several years now, and I keep it handy right on my desk at work. It is the best thing I have ever found for healing small cuts and the dry, cracked skin I get in the winter. Between all the paper handling and the hand washing, my hands need TLC and Herbal Balmmakes them feel good again. I use it at least once a day even if my hands are fine, and Herbal Balm is a wonderful moisturizer, too!

Our family has used Back Bay Botanical products for more than ten years. We use Devil’s Club Rub on sprains and Herbal Balm on bruises and burns. I’m convinced the Herbal Balm significantly reduced my bruising after a recent wrist injury. A dear older friend has a puzzling condition with a perpetually sore and swollen ankle. The doctors can’t find anything wrong. Devil’s Club Rub is the only product he’s found that gives him relief. He uses it on an arthritic thumb joint as well. I love the natural “Stay Away Insect Spray.” It works well, from no-see-ums in Southeast Alaska to mosquitoes in Minnesota. I keep a supply of the lip balms on hand for gifts. Approximately three years ago my business associate brought me some Devil's Club from your store as a gift (he and his family visited your beautiful state while on vacation).

I have a lower back problem that causes me indescribable pain. For over twenty five years I have resisted surgery and have been a candidate for many types of treatment (medical and home remedies) to help decrease the ever present ache in my lower back and hips. He told me that this rub was said to help many different types of aches and pains. I was skeptical but I tried it and I had almost immediate relief of the ache after the first application. I am not implying that my back problem was cured but nothing, and I mean nothing, had ever helped the pain that quickly and no drugs!

Immediately I went on the Internet and tried to find your store but your site was closed for remodeling. I checked each day for what seemed forever but your site remained down. Steve gave me the rub that he had bought for personal use, the rub that he had brought for his parents, and the one that he had brought for his pastor! But, eventually I gave up and ordered some devil's rub from another place but it just wasn't the same. I don't know if I had psyched myself into thinking I had to have Back Bay Botanical Devil's Club or if it truly wasn't the same but it didn't help.

Then approximately three-four weeks ago I decided to try again and there you were, right back in business (at least where I could find you). I ordered the rub from you and when I received it the same thing happened. My relief was almost instantaneous! I am so happy to have found you and Devil's Club rub. Please don't go away again.

…I have always been very picky about my face lotion, even willing to pay high prices for non-oily highly acclaimed products. I had settled on one and used it for many years. When I discovered and tried Jean's Noni Cream, I loved it and switched immediately.
